WATER – Be the Change joins the musical spree at Earth Garden

Malta’s largest alternative festival, Earth Garden is back. Around 30,000 are expected to flock the National Park in Ta’ Qali, during the coming weekend, to celebrate music, diversity and life.

This popular music event was first organised in 2007, and since than, Earth Garden became an important annual event, bringing the ultimate festival experience to Malta. For the past two consecutive years, this musical spree has been put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic and ever since, all true music lovers were counting down the days for this year’s event.

Earth Garden is a local pioneer for spreading public awareness on environmental matters and this year’s music festival will not be an exception, as it will include the participation of Malta’s national water conservation campaign, WATER – Be the Change with its prevalent mobile unit, as from Friday 3rd till Sunday 5th June at the National Park in Ta’ Qali.

Over the past weeks, Malta’s water campaign has been present in other public events, namely the Malta Earth Day Green Fair, the Valletta Green Festival and lately, during the first edition of Malta AgriFair. The intent of such participation is to continue promoting water conservation tips, which can be easily applied at home, at work and also in the agricultural sector.

“We look forward to experience this musical journey during this coming weekend, whilst providing our professional advice on how to save water. Our campaign team will be holding experiments from time to time on board the mobile unit and suggesting simple tips on how to waste less water in our day-to-day habits at home and at work,” said a representative of the national water conservation campaign, WATER – Be the Change.

Earth Garden 2022 will feature 5 music stages, a gem of a Jamming area and over 100 acts from around the world with an eclectic music fusion of World Music, Ska, Funk, Blues, Reggae, Alternative Rock, Dub, Hip-Hop, Psychedelic Trance, Techno, Acid, House, Electro, Drum ‘n’ Bass and more. Earth Garden isn’t just about music. It’s also about cultural diversity, community, healing, creativity and inspiration. The Festival offers an International Food-Court, Healing, daily workshops, a colorful and diverse Ethnic Market, a large naturally shaded campsite and a Fun Park.
